Branson Events for 2012 and Beyond
May 10 - Jun 3, 2012 Bluegrass & BBQ Festival at Silver Dollar City - Some of the top names in bluegrass along with up-and-coming performers, the Annual Single Mic competition, and the KSMU Youth in Bluegrass competition are all a part of this festival. New for 2012 is the "Front Porch Fellowship Stage hosted by Les Butler of The Singing News Magazine. Check the Silver Dollar City website for a list of performers.
May 17-19, 2012 52nd Annual Plumb Nellie Days Arts & Crafts Festival in Downtown Branson. Over 150 crafters and artists, live entertainment, children's area, and more. Friday night street dance; salute to our military at noon on Armed Forces Day.  
May 17-20, 2012 1st Annual Branson Accordion Festival with accordion workshops, concerts, competition, and comradery plus the opportunity to perform on the Welk Resort stage. Display of Lawrence Welk accordions and other memorabilia. Open to accordion music lovers of all ages and skill levels, including those who love to listen but don't play.
May 19, 2012 Country Throwdown Tour at Black Oak Mountain Amphitheatre - Main stage performers include Gary Allan, Justin Moore and Josh Thompson. Additional stages with Sunny Sweeney, Eric Paslay, Florida-Georgia Line, Rose Falcon, Carly Pearce, and Maggie Rose.
May 20, 2012 Armed Forces Remembrance Day "Big Show" - A Branson-style USO Show free to all active duty military and their families. Also open to the general public. At Branson's Icon Theatre
May 31 - Jun 3, 2012 Branson Motorcycle Rally - For all skill levels from seasoned riders to newbies. Ride maps for some of the best riding roads in Southwest MO and Northwest AR.
June 2, 2012 Ronnie Millsap, up close and in concert in an intimate venue of only 400 seats. Two shows only at 3 & 8 pm. Visit Up Close Concerts for tickets and information.
June 2-10, 2012 Season Pass Appreciation Days at Silver Dollar City
June 2-16, 2012 "The Thorn", a multi-faceted interpretation of the passion of Jesus Christ through drama, music, dance, gymnastics and other movement. At Branson's Tri-Lakes Center.
June 8, 2012 Texaco Country Showdown Competition on the Branson Landing
June 8-9 2012 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour stop #3 on a 5-city professional tour. Athletes accumulate points at each stop with the highest point value at the end claiming the title. On Table Rock Lake, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink. http://www.thewwa.com/
June 12-14, 2012 The Oak Ridge Boys in concert at their Branson theatre, Select dates in 2012 include June 12-14, Sept 18-20, Oct 9-25 & Nov 1-15.
Aug 9-11, 2012 Super Summer Cruise - Over 500 vehicles expected for this annual event and the Show'n'Shine on Shepherd of the Hills Homestead.
3rd Week of Sept Annual Autumn Daze Arts & Crafts Festival in Historic Downtown Branson
Nov 11, 2012 Annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony capping off a week of events honoring our nation's Veterans. Traditionally held the 11th month, 11th day, 11th hour.
First Sunday in Dec Annual Adoration Parade and Lighting Ceremony in Historic Downtown Branson. Theme is traditionally "Keeping Christ in Christmas". This is an evening parade with lighted floats, bands, and other entries. A large nativity scene on the bluff overlooking downtown Branson is lighted before the parade begins.
